It’s time for the last regular season college football game. When I was young, my dad used to have us watch this game on TV because he was a fan of Navy, having served in the Navy as a medic. Of course years later I served in the Army as an Airborne Infantry Soldier. Needless to say, I root for the Army. Regardless of who we were rooting for in that game, the one thing we knew was after it all would be serving in our country’s armed forces.
Dad died in 2014, but I am still watching this game every year. I miss having him here to share it, and though we jokingly trashed each other, we definitely came together to agree on one thing - at least we weren’t the Air Force.
