I watched Donnie play the other night. Maybe he has not caught on at UNLV yet but he was not playing well enough to start here, don’t know why. Jayce would not be starting and with younger players to develop, minutes for him would not be good considering the investment in the younger players. Devon seemed to fall into a bad chemistry vortex, hopefully, like sometimes happens, he has got it together because no one wants to screw up a second chance. At least some of the others were not on guaranteed 4 year plans and did not encourage the staff enough for yearly renewal. It is stressful to see folks turnover, however, I am not sure how any would make a big difference on the current team. As we get into conference play we will see. Oregon and Arizona may put pressure on the league to improve just to keep from falling behind.
