What are your memories of key moments in Utah football’s modern era?

Amen

I wish I could give you a hundred stars for this post. I’ve watched that play a few dozen times on the recording I have of the game - what a great moment! I can relate exactly to the way your father felt.

The only thing that could have improved it is if Kruger had not tripped himself up and had run it all the way back for a pick six. I was sitting near his father, and he later said he would never let Paul forget that fall.

One of my favorites parts of that clip is Kruger faking Max Hall out of his shorts on the runback. I am not sure Max really wanted to make that tackle, but Kruger made a fool of him twice on that play.

If he wasn’t going to run to daylight, at least pile-drive the obnoxious QB making a feeble attempt to tackle him…

Paul said after the game he recognized the formation and movement and knew exactly where Max was going to throw that ball.
