A close #2
I think I recognize that guy, but I still have a strong sensation that cash Patel is worse. If for no reason other than the fact that heâs in such a critically damaging post right now. The amount of perhaps irreparable damage to tell can do at the FBI doesnât bear thinking about. I mean Hoover was a real piece of work, and did some nefarious things would that department. But he wasnât trying to effectively dismantle and destroy it from the inside.
These two gas stations in my neighborhood are across the street from one another and this discrepancy has been in place for multiple years, and yet the higher one always has someone filling up when I go by.
I have had to teach my kids to pay attention, but sometimes the convenience of being on one side of the road counts for some people. Also, Shell has some rewards programs that take off 10, 20 cents/gal. Lastly, Exxon could be showing a cash price but at the pump with card is 10c more ⌠So, not all what it may seem, but def weird.
Thanks for the explainer. Understanding the world that sometimes doesnât make sense.
So, I may need to take that lesson about paying attention from you, maybe even the full course.
Next time I stop, I have to look closely to make sure I am getting the âsignâ price.
As to convenience, this is not a highway, but a neighborhood Avenue, and both are as convenient as the other as to on/off.
Maybe some wonât buy from Exxon because of Valdez. Most people are irrational anyway and common sense isnât all that common. I use Gas Buddy, but usually my wife fills up at Samâs club which is cheaper if you can stand waiting for lines of 4 cars.
I have found that Shellâs gasoline has a delightful frothiness and a hoppier flavor than Exxonâs. Thatâs why I prefer it, and I think many other people feel this way, too.
â â â â â â â , thatâs great. Thanks for the great laugh.
