The Craig Smith era begins

Smith’s first recruit! He has a brother (Mason) who is also in the portal.

6’6" 190 lbs. Needs to put on some muscle weight.

That’s too bad. He looked pretty good on youtube.

Seems to have decent 2-guard skills.

It’s official. Loyola’s Porter Moser to Oklahoma.

Loyola will promote an assistant to HC.

I’m impressed with Coach Smith early on.

Maybe SeattleUte was right for once

USU hires Ryan Odom, HC at UMBC.

Current roster, as of this moment:

Jr
Riley Battin
Lahat Thioune

Soph
Carlson
Jones
Jantunen
Brenchley

Fr.
Martinez
Larsson
Stefanovic
Madsen

Three spots to fill (that is going to increase). Would love to see a big time rebounder and more shooting, but im sure everybody in college basketball has a similar wish list.

I hope we can get Kellier and Allen back.

Does Mason Falslev still have a seat at the table? Doesn’t he come home from a mission this summer? I believe he and Rylan Jones are really really good buds.

He uses his left hand well. Nice to see.

Still another year to go. Havent heard a thing about him.

I keep seeing rumors that Jatunen got homesick playing for the Finnish national team, and will stay in Europe. Hope the rumors are wrong or that CS can change his mind.

You don’t remember in 2007, after UNLV beat the football team 27-0, Crimson, Jazzy and some others were bellowing fire Whit. I told them to shut up, he was going to be our coach a long time, as it is a match made in heaven, and he would coach a season that would surpass 2004. I received threats of physical harm.

If you followed my posts, you’d nickname me The Oracle.

Hi agree with the Oracle moniker. But I don’t think SU deserves it because we retained Lahat and Riley (meh). He deserves it for his body of work around BYU and the Big 12.

Haha. That too!

Yes.
