Yes they do. I think it’s a major factor in their recruiting of athletes. It’s an unfair advantage over many other schools.
They recruit the hottest cheerleaders and then everything else just falls into place
Depending on what all transpires and is required as part of scholarship duty for the girls… Could it cross the line as well into “pay for play” territory?

Pretty much the SEC strategy at all schools. That and play a lot of cream-puffs late in the season
