New RB Coach

Looking for RB coach and Quenton Ganther appears to be the favorite amongst fans. I’m fine with that but my question is whether he ever received his degree. If not, he will not be at Utah as a degree is mandatory. Another name is AJ Seward, the Oregon St. RB coach. I looked at his bio and saw that he coached at BYU in 2018 and 2019.

I doubt Whit was surprised by this and would expect he has a list of potential candidates.

Agree - the price of success is your assistants are sought.

Whoever they hire they have to first and foremost be a great recruiter. Coaching ability is a far second.

While coaching at Utah, Ganther earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Utah in 2012.
