Hell of an effort by Simmons. That could have gone either way.
What the absolute f*ck was that disaster?
The second muffed snap of the game.
How is that not PI if the one on us was?
Truck stop refs
2nd best running attack in the country, and we decide to just…air it out today.
Sure, makes total sense.
Also, we can’t even attempt a 46-yard FG?
Don’t get that. Low odds play v a 47 yd Fg attempt? We need a new metrics provider.
I don’t understand what holding or PI is anymore
Hey let’s leave points on the field and go for 4-6 cuz that’s such a consistent play for us
I don’t understand anything about this game.
That new delay of game ruling is the dumbest call in football.
That is such a ridiculous call.
Especially when we get the ball to start the 2nd half. Need to think some steps ahead.
Nothing today makes me think we belong in any discussion about the playoffs.
Three straight weeks I’m saying this.
I want us to win a bowl game.
But we should get one we deserve and I feel like the playoff talk sounds like a dumb and dumber joke.
4th and 6 on the 29. 46 yard FG not a gimmee given the cold weather, but I think kick the FG. It probably has as better chance of being good as converting on 4th and 6.

Win or lose today, this has been a very successful turn-around season. But this is not - in any way whatsoever - a playoff team.
KU is a good team that’s had a disappointing season, trying to get to a bowl on Senior Day. We need to squeeze their will to win. Not easy, but that’s what we need to do.
They seem pretty prepped for what we’ve shown offensively, eg the jet sweep with Bray. Beck has been good at finding a play, like the TD to Buchanon, what else can he dial up? They’re thin at the NB, attack it.
Defense seems to have found their legs, a little. It would be better if the offense can give them some cushion.
When I walk through the outcomes I can’t figure how going for it on 4th & 6 makes any sense.
-
Make the FG and you’re up 6 with KU not having much time to drive the length of the field
-
Miss the FG and the result is essentially the same as not converting the 4th down. Instill with a long way to go and little time.
-
Convert on 4th but you may still be having to go a ways to score, so no sure thing.
-
Low odds results of block, scoop & score, or whatever should influence the choice.
Basically doesn’t seem like we look at the metrics chart thinking where various results might leave us for the next play or two. Bad chess.
Ware may not know the rules. But he’s right. Why are we throwing all the time?
