Was good to gety boat out with its Mercury 1984 classic fifty outboard. Put a new water pump in in this spring, rebuilt the carbs etc. something inherently satisfying about fixing something yourself
Ran great the first two hours then I managed to flood it. Waited that out and we each educated about six trout on what flies to avoid in the future
Good times. Good to get out again and hang with a buddy I haven’t fished with in a while
