Fate of Whitt - unofficial poll

Not supposed to happen. 1 fundraiser allowed, should be split for all youth, otherwise should come from the budget (also should be split for all youth). One leader once told me, “there are many ways to give, but through the budget isn’t one of them.” We’ve had a big clampdown as ‘super-activities’ were becoming the norm from some benefactor (luckily was for the young men and young women) but quite inequitable compared to what adjacent youth groups could do.

Now, if Whit was retiring and funding Top Golf trips …

Ah, got it. I interpreted “areas” to be the more impoverished places here in the valley.

Can I say I hope Whitt stays, takes the team to Provo next season, and seal clubs TDS on their own field?

Ok, I just did.

Wait, are we playing there again next season?

No. Because we play them at our place next year

Leave the tired guy out of the mental gymnastics tournament.

Well that’s got me rethinking our choice to not go to LV for the game. I’d like to cheer him on his way out.

Very different Ute team going forward.

Honestly have no idea or even a guess what it will look like in 3 years.

Whitt had been so solid for so long. He will be missed. Thanks for the work he did here.

And I really hope we win in Vegas to see him off on a high note.

Scalley needs to retain Beck. And he should dump a pile of cash in front of Jay Hill for DC.

I’ll genuinely be less engaged now, as I like Morgan enough as a casual dude - I remember meeting him at one of the CC luncheons back in the Mac Days. Handsome charming dude, but as we all learned, not above a notable public fauxpas. That luncheon was back inthe days of it being held at the Hilton (now Sheraton) in the conference center and it as like 15 bucks, open to anyone, not just CC members.
