I forget how good this team was down the stretch. I’m not sure there has been a better group of WR’s: Brown, Casteel, Godfrey, Reed, Brooks.

It was a great win, though the turf monster of Rice Eccles screwed Krueger out of a TD.

LOL, I remember Sealver telling the story that Krueger tried to spin it that he realized that he was scoring too quickly and went down to give the ball to the defense to run some clock.
Sealver was like, yeah, no one bought that one.

That 2004 squad of Savoy, Warren, and LaTendress (sp?) was quite the receiving corp too.

John Madsen was pretty good too on the '04 team.
Savoy and Warren were the best group of WRs at the U, it’s not close.
If you want to give back a ways, Utah had a strong group in '95 of Kevin Dyson, Rocky Henry and Henry Lusk. In '93 there was Bryan Rowley, Deron Claiborne, Henry Lusk, Greg Hooks and Curtis Marsh. The competition level then obviously was much lower than it is now.
