If we keep winning, and convincingly, let’s say BYU gets a rematch in the CCG and gets thumped again…

Honestly, on principle alone it is very important to me that BYU get humbled and exposed.. They neede Kyle to beat himself to get THAT win, and we were their only true challenge.
I have the highest regard for Kalani, but those players need a reality check. I give them credit for stiffening up when it counts though.
But ya gotta admit, losing by repeated field goals seems even less dignified than a few break away bombs or hail marys.
Looking at the all plays tab on ESPN is just LAUGHABLE. More punts than a British Canal regatta.
I dont think the committee will be imprssed with either team…

Still another quarter left. I would be surprised but not shocked if BYU somehow pulled it out. However, if they do indeed lose, I could see them losing again to TCU and at Cincy.

CIncinnati gonna want some displacement vengeance against BYU, since they cant get back at Utah.. barring a miracle and they end up in CCG together.

Byu is nowhere near the level of Texas Tech… talent, toughness, execution are not even close. But.. we all knew this.

Tech is legit good, especially their D. We saw it, just couldn’t adjust to backup who had more dual threat as our D tired late (DD not 100%).
Anytime BYU loses, it makes my Sunday experience better. I just want to worship, not hear about football. And I’ve never been persecuted for my grad school team, only Utah attendance. And I’m not from Utah, so only they have made me care outside the actual week tye rivalry is played.
