Yep. They should be happy. They just dominated the two time P12 Champion. Turned out to be a solid team.
Yep we were beaten decisively. AZ is a team on the rise. They may have a bright future if their school doesnât have to declare bankruptcy
Resorting to school funding smack to feel better ![]()
Well, at least the delusional TDS lost.
The pig farmer stank today
Disagree. Putting it all on him is silly.
Edit: over 250 yards passing and 53 more running.
Iâm not saying it was all him (we wouldnt have won with Rising today), but he wasnât good today.
It was a team loss. Whit didnât have the team prepared to start the game, and it showed. It has been a long, long time since I have seen Utah fall behind 28-0 in the first 16 minutes. And you canât give up a blocked punt and throw a red-zone INT (and one other INT) and expect to be in a position to win.
On TV, we canât see whatâs going on in the backfield, but it sure looks like Bryson is having a hard time finding anybody open.
Get Johnson in. Whatâs the point of having Barnes in right now?
Just count the rushers. Weâre sending five receivers into 7 or 8 defenders every time.
Iâm rooting for the Beavers tonight and next week. Let chaos reign and screw anyone going to the Big10
And now Bills limping. ![]()
Old LV bowl was like conference #5. New LV bowl is #2 after Alamo. Hopefully 2 in NY6, Alamo, LV, Holiday, Sun, LA Bowl, Independence. Weâre probably bound for one of the latter 3.
Last time we lost by 25 or more was 2019 Alamo Bowl
The last two games weâve seen amazing lapses. In the second half of the Washington game, as Bill Riley said, Utah simply didnât execute. They werenât changing anything they were doing, they just couldnât get things done.
The first half of this game they were practically not there.
I think Diehard might be right, the guys just ran out of the gas they needed in the tank to overcome injury setback after injury setback.
That was fun to attend, right up to kickoff.
Crazy thing is, Utah has outgained UA 450 (a really good number) to 392 and have 25 first downs to their 20. Again, the picks, blocked punt, and penalties have been killers.
Crazy game. You look at the yardage and 1st down stats and youâd guess us 31-27. 2 turnovers + blocked punt TD turned the tides. We had more yards, more 1st downs, more TOP (UA had more quick big plays). Ball didnât go on the hoop. Lost as a team.
So we get a little tiny bit of pride back with a touchdown, plus the Bryson Barnes two point conversion. Iâll take it. Keep fighting until the end. Impressive.
Iâm going to say it right now, Whit gets the team ready, erases this debacle from their minds, and Utah beats Colorado by at least four touchdowns next week.
