Pretty cool that this landmark is being saved. Seems like Sugar House in particular has fallen victim over the years to runaway redevelopment.

I grew up on Wilson Ave. about 1800 E. As a kid I rode my bike to Allen Park many times. Westminster College had a football team and we would ride down and watch the games.

That is awesome. Pretty much the only thing I know about Westminster football is that George Siefert was once the head coach…just a couple years removed from being a Ute linebacker.
